Supported Platforms

Last Round targets three platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam (PC). Each delivers current-generation optimizations over the PS4 and Xbox One DOA6 releases—faster load times, improved resolution options, and refined online infrastructure. No Crossplay Confirmed

Last Round does not support crossplay. PlayStation 5 players cannot match with Xbox Series X|S or Steam players. PC players cannot queue into PlayStation or Xbox lobbies. Friend invites and ranked matchmaking remain platform-locked. This mirrors original DOA6's platform separation and shapes where the competitive community concentrates.

Original DOA6 and Last Round are also separate online ecosystems. PS4 DOA6 players cannot play with PS5 Last Round players. Upgrading to Last Round means leaving your previous platform's player pool entirely unless enough players migrate simultaneously.

Choosing Your Platform

Consider active player counts, regional matchmaking quality, and your existing fighting game communities before purchasing. Historically, PlayStation platforms attracted larger DOA player bases in North America and Japan, but regional trends shift. Last Round is a separate purchase, not a free upgrade from original DOA6. Save data transfers one-way from DOA6 to Last Round on the same platform account, but online progress—rankings, Fighter Levels, Fighter Points, and Player Points—does not transfer.
